Niva Fried completed her undergraduate at Rubin Academy, Tel Aviv, Israel and her MM and Doctoral Studies at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts. Niva studied with Leonard Shure, Maria Clodes, Gabriel Chodos. Niva is a winner of awards for excellence in performance, including the Aaron Richmond and Harvard Music Association Distinction. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association (MMTA), New England Piano Association, Inc. (NEPTA) Chair of Materials Committee. Niva Fried is part of the Faculty at the Indian Hill Music Center and Brookline Music School. Niva Fried's students regularly win piano competitions around New England.
